Holidays Around The Corner

Hey guys, I’m still down in Memphis and things are going real good.

The whole gang wishes you a Happy Thanksgiving!

And, as you well know; as soon as Thanksgiving rolls around it’s time to take out the Christmas stuff. Bill had a great idea; some years back, he wrote and recorded a song called “Christmas Is Jesus Christ”. He wanted you all to hear it and have it so, if you look at the music player to your right you will see it’s #2 on the playlist. Click on the song and a little button that says “Download” will appear. Click on that and you can download “Christmas Is Jesus Christ” for no charge.

I think you will like it!

Hope you are having a good trip, Jack,

Yes, I love this song, I think Bill should do more Christmas

    songs………thanks….

  2. Susan Buchanan Says:

    Hi Jack,
So good to hear from you. Sure glad you are enjoying the good life.

Me too! I’ve had this ong on cd for a while now and just love it. I’m with Jeanie - go for a Christmas album Bill and Jack. The heat wave has broken - only 24 degrees celsius today and we’ve had some RAIN!!!!!

  6. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

Chris, this is wonderfull news,……so glad for you.

Yes, I think a Christmas album, with some “Walking on the

Water”, types, would make a great album,

I have the “Christmas is Jesus Christ”, too, I love it.

I think there are some others too…………yes,, it would be great

I think Jack’s “2 Trains”, might fit in there, lol

Have a combined cd, Bill and Jack, wow

I know I would love it, lol

    Have a great day, everyone……..

  7. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

Ok, guys, here are just a few, lol

    Lord, don’t You Know
    I Love Jesus
The Lord Moves in Mysterious Ways
    You Are
    The Sun will Shine Again
    Christmas is Jesus Christ
    Walkin on the Water
    2 Trains (Jack)
    Trouble Ain’t Over(Jack)

I’m sure someone else can add to this lists, lol

  8. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

    and by the way,

That Jack can play that guitar, can’t he, lol

listen to MUNK on his Trouble Ain’t Over cd

    and he writes, too, lol

  9. Chris O'Neill Says:

Yes it’s been a great few days - just over 2 inches of rain has filled our rainwater tanks and the low temps have renewed everyone’s energies. Had a big bush fire just south of here - about 20 mins drive down the road - started by lightninig - under control now. Looking forward to news of another Dees/Pribek album aren’t we mates??

  10. Susan Buchanan Says:

Chris it is great that your weather has calmed to a more normal scenario. Owen mentioned you were having some dry lightening. Thrilled you got the rain.
Sounds like you and Jeanie are putting together another album for the dynamic duo. Way to go. Looking forward to another one.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

  11. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

    good morning, lol

Yes, we are a team, looks like, eh, Chris?

we need more music from these music makers, lol

It is great news that you are having rain, Chris,

    must be so refreshing,

Susan, how is it going for you, today?

  12. Barb Gowen Says:

Bill, thanks for the phone call ~ I have spread the word about your song….lol ~ keep singing and after the holidays when family is gone, we will chat longer (if I don’t do something stupid and erase your phone number but then I’ll just call Jeanie or Susan for help :-)

Chris rain? sounds good and much needed. It’s so nice here it’s hard to believe it’s fall, hope it lasts a few more days, the kids like to me outside. And Neena likes them to be (Glenn’s hoping to take Jacob fishing if the weather stays like this) ~ they watch way too much TV when they are at our house. Many many more stations, plus Michael limits their television.

Have a great day everyone, Jeanie see you over coffee

  13. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

Yes, my coffee buddie, lol coffee is good, today.

    and good morning, all,
it is great thet Chris finally has some relief from that horrid heat,
and hopefully, the rest of the year will be good,…………and hey, Chris, maybe you might even be thinking you could make it to Branson and let someone else drive that bus for a few days, lol……..well, wishfull thinking on my part……lol……..Barb is still keeping it in mind, lol
Hey, Susan, is it still cool for you?
    Have a great day/evening, everyone.

  14. Susan Buchanan Says:

Good morning all. It is cool my way and raining. I love it as all of you know. I guess everyone is gearing up for Thanksgiving here in the US. We have 3 birthdays and Thanksgiving which, of course, is a norm here. Barb I see you have Bill’s song on CB’s. Everyone will really love that Christmas song.
Jeanie I guess you will have a crowd for the holiday and Barb’s having her family for sure. I hope everyone has a great week full of family and blessing and good food for sure!!!! HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all!

  15. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

    another “good morning”

Going to be baking today, want to say

    Happy Thanksgiving to everyone,

    Enjoy your family/friends on Thrusday,

    Just have a great day,

  16. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

    well, good morning, all,
Turkey is in the oven, the time is here, lol
Have a great day, and week end,
    See you later,

    Jeanie

  17. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

    good morning, All

    “It’s Over”, lol

and Christmas is just around the corner, and I’m decorating

early, so, I can enjoy everything for the whole month, lol

Hope you all have a great week end, fun, fun, fun, lol

    Jeanie

  18. Susan Buchanan Says:

Good morning. I am with you on the early decorating so to enjoy it thru the whole month of December. Glad Thanksgiving is over which makes for an extra couple of pounds but it sure was delicious!
I even have a lot of my shopping done! Trying to be thrifty! There have been some good sales for sure.
Bill and Jack, hope you had the best Thanksgiving ever. We sure are thankful for you fellows and your loved ones.
OK Jeanie, you are not alone here any more!!!!!!
And Dessie, I do hope you are feeling better and got that blood pressure down. Let us hear from you.
    Have a wonderful day everyone!

  19. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

    Thanks, Susan, lol
I don’t like to be alone,
Don’t like that echo feeling, lol
Hope you have a wonderfull day,

  20. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

    Monday, monday, lol

also, the last day of November, and I ask you,

“where DOES The Time Go” that’s what I want to know, lol

Well, I’ve got Bill and Jack playing for me, today, lol

Wish we were all in Branson, having our very own “live”

    performance, lol

    Have a “fantastic” day, everyone

  21. Chris O'Neill Says:

G’day everyone - well back again from jaunting around the countryside. Glad you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving festivities - hope you ahve added too many pounds (or kilos here) You can soon wera them off if you did - just jig around the house to some lively Pribek/Dees/Orbison music - that’ll do the trick. Me, well I’m about to go out and do my Gungadin thing with buckets of water and get my vegies a drink. Catch ya soon

  22. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

    Hey, Chris,
Did you get everything watered? lol

Susan is having that other little surgery on her throat, today,
she won’t be able to speak for a few days, and
    I’ll be thinking about her,
I know she is happy to be getting it over.

    Hope everyone else is well,
    Take care,

  23. Chris O'Neill Says:

Yes Jeanie all watered - but it’s a daily need so I’ll be at it again in a minute or so. Tara’s birthday today (36) I’ve just finished baking a cake for this evening’s meal with her and the kids. Actually it turned out OK too. Might h ave discovered a new calling - waddaya say? Won’t be long now and the jolly old man will be around leaving gifts etc for all the good boys and girls. I’m sure everyone connected with this site will qualify for a gift or two, don’t you? Hope all went well with Little Queenie.

  24. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

Yes, I think she is doing good, ….lol she will be her old self pretty quick, just can’t keep a good woman down, lol
Sounds like watering is a full time job, for you, Chris,
I watered my yard, yesterday, it should be good for a few days,
Well, yes, you might be a chef and not know it, we do know you can BBQ steaks, lol wish you would repeat that for us in April, lol and bake us a cake, too, lol
Your Tara and my Taira are about the same B’Day’s, Nov. 19th
but, mine is 35, and she is my first grand-child, lol
Say Happy Birthday to her, from California, lol
    Take care, now

  25. Susan Buchanan Says:

Hello friends. I got thru that surgery very well. The anesthetic was a little rough this time but feel better today. It is the voice rest that really kicks my butt. Quiet is not me. And everybody I can hear your comments on that one!!!!! Should be good as new in a few days.
Christmas is upon us but trying to be thrifty this year. Not much sense in all that gift buying when no one needs much. Back in the good old days we looked forward to our new pj’s, socks, undies, a new shirt and the stockings were filled with fruit and nuts and candy and maybe a nickel or two. Actually, we still do a lot of that. A few years ago our oldest granddaughter, 4 at the time I think, exclaimed, “I have an apple” and was so excited. I was excited that she was excited. They still get apples.
Chris do wish Tara and Jeanie your Taira a Happy Birthday from me.
I was just 35 the other day. WHERE DOES THE TIME GO?
Chris what kind of cakes do you bake? I just want to make a note of that as it may come in handy around here in the spring.
    Everyone have a blessed day.

  26. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

lol, I know what you mean, Susan, seems not too long ago I was 35, lol But, I look at Taira, now, and she still looks 20, and I think, “was I ever that young”, lol
But, then, on the other hand, I don’t feel my age, now, till I look in the mirror, lol

Glad you are able to type to us, lol

  27. Chris O'Neill Says:

Glad the op went OK Little Queenie! I cooked a chocoate fudge cake with custard and strawberries in between and a sprinkle of icing sugar on top. Everyone ate and all are still OK today so it must have been alright. Shoot! It must be hard not to talk Susan!!!

  28. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

Hey, Chris, you got that right, lol
Not talking is the hardest part for our lil queenie, lol
but, she is doing well, and that is great.

That cake sounds wonderfull, lol yummmmmm
I’m sure it was enjoyed by all, lol

  29. Susan Buchanan Says:

That cake sounds yummie Chris. May be a new line of work for you.
It is hard for me not to talk but got to heal so I can talk even more!!!!!!
Hope it is the end of this stuff. Everyone should have their throat area checked every now and then as there is a lot that can go on there with the thyroid and the vocal chords and the glands. I had polyps on both my vocal chords and would have never known if a salvia gland had not become inflammed. Don’t forget your throat area. I am good as new now.
    Blessings to all.

  30. Susan Buchanan Says:

Sorry, I got my flowers and glands mixed up. That would be saliva gland.

  31. Chris O'Neill Says:

Ha! Ha! I didn’t pick it .. well you can’t be expected to be a perfect all rounder now can you Queenie? Off to the Doc myself this morning - think I may have busted/cracked a rib changing a tyre on the 4 wheel drive. Must be getting old and frail eh? Now what are our songsters up to? Any new material being created or out there to share with ardent fans? Hope all is rosy in your part of the world

  32. Tom Britton Says:

What a song writer! What a singer! When you combine Bill’s emotion with the music and words the result is powerful, enjoyable, and memorable music.

  33. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

    Hey, Tom,
You got that right, lol……….yes, “memories” are made of this, lol…..

  34. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

    good morning, all

Just want to mention that 21 years ago, today,
Roy Orbison gave his last concert, waved his last wave,
in Ohio, then, 2 days later, was gone from us…………

  35. Barb Gowen Says:

Oh, Jeanie how could we forget, way to soon the world lost the best ~ I have just been listening to Bruce (the boss) do Pretty Woman not our Roy but how he loved him, just like us

Chris in April how about you doing the birthday cake?

And Susan today or tomorrow we will talk, I’ve been good not calling and making you talk (how’s that going for Bobby?)

And Tom see you in April?

    Good morning to all :-)

  36. Chris O'Neill Says:

All I need is access to the hotel kitchen Barb lol…..turn me loose I say. How’s it going everyone? yes 21 years today here (it’s already Sunday here) hard to believe it’s been so long isn’t it? Thoughts go out to Barbara, Roy Jr, Alex and Wesley today to lose your husband and Dad is devastating. To lose a dear friend is also hard to take. But what a legacy he left us all! Without Roy the Orbifamily wouldn’t even know one another - I am so glad I found you all.

  37. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

good morning, all, or evening, lol
You are so right, Chris, without Roy, most of us would have never met……..And you are certaintly one of my treasured finds, Chris,
For me, it all started with the Buchanan’s, lol
Barb, Phyllis, Sheila, Cookie, Karine, Jim, …..on “the porch”, lol
But, then, so many more, as time went on,
and hopefully, many more to meet, lol

It is chilly here in my “paradise” land, like 32, wow, isn’t that
    at freezing? lol
Hasn’t been this cold since I don’t know when, lol

Remembering Roy, today, and the “LEGEND” lives on,

  38. Barb Gowen Says:

Yes, we love him, but his family certainly feels the loss too, I agree with Chris the wise man from down under. My thoughts go to Wesley, Alex, Roy Jr. & Barbara, along with all of you my dear friends…….Thanks Bill (Roy) for all these wonderful memories ~ Remembering certainly especially today……..seems like yesterday and not so long ago

  39. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

Now, at last, the rain they have talked about for the last 2 weeks has finally come, and wouldn’t you know, after the decorations are up outside, lol, lol yeah, happens every year, lol
We always have at least one windy one sometime in December, lol Then, of course, have to re-do some of it, lol

but, hey, I’m so lucky, it still doesn’t snow, here, lol

Well, wish you all a “fantastic” day, whatever you are doing,
and see, even I have flaws in my “paradise”, lol

California Woman, does not have sunshine, today, lol

    MERCY

  40. Susan Buchanan Says:

What a very special and touching weekend we have all had. A lot of us have talked on the phone, emailed, or posted on Crazy Bill’s and Roy’s. Such tender memories of a tender man. And, here we all are sharing our lives because of Roy.
Bill, sure glad you are still around making some mighty fine music and lots of new memories.
OK. It is settled. Chris will do the birthday cake next year, you wise man from downunder. You have really got Barb fooled!!!! KIDDING!!
I talked with Jack over the weekend and he is back in MO and Bill was on his way over to get some jamming going on. How we do appreciate the both of you.
Little Jeanie what has happened in paradise? You might have to put some socks on with those sandals! It is 32 here now. On Saturday it was 40 at Jeanie’s on the west coast and 40 here on the east coast! I am loving it!!
Everyone have a great week and enjoy your blessings.

  41. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

lol, more than socks, Susan, lol
It is cold, rainy and wet.
Not normal for here, at all, lol
but, yes, we do have rain, just not this cold.

  42. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

    good morning, All

what a difference a day makes……..lol………..california woman is a happy camper, today, the sun is shinning, rain is gone, and it’s a tad warmer, today…..lol

The Christmas tree is up and almost decorated, lol

    Have a “fantastic” day everyone…..

  43. Chris O'Neill Says:

Way to go Jeanie! It’s been pretty cool here too of late. After that hot spell it’s been quite a relief. School finishes here on Friday for 6 weeks over Christmas / New Year so I’ll be able to get stuck into my Roy Room all interior work is done so I can paint etc. Been a long time in the planning.

  44. Barb Gowen Says:

Jeanie send some of that warmer sunshine to Indiana ~ I’m not a winter woman at all. Roy sounds so good this morning, I’m in a Blue, Blue Mood but I’m sure he will soon sing something else……guess I need to work, catch you all later
Have a great day (or evening)

  45. Susan Buchanan Says:

Good morning all. One thing this crowd know for sure is that I love cold weather and snow. The southeast has lacked both for a while. But this year is supposed to be different. Actually, for the first time in 11 years we are not in some level of drought!!!!!! Just a few years back we had rivers drying up. Chris, glad it is cooler your way. Jeanie, glad you have your sunshine back and Barb, Barb, Barb, you must hang on as winter is just starting. You can always come visit and thaw out as we are usually a lot warmer than you guys. Hope your Blue, Blue Mood changes to a smile.
Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow.
Bill and Jack, we are looking forward to hearing what you two are up to. Curious minds want to know.
    Blessing to all.

  46. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

    lol, good morning, All,
My sunshine went somewhere else, it is cold, but, hey, it is early, “the sun will shine again” lol…….A Bill Dees song, lol
Chris, glad it is cooler for you, and you can have some time for your roy room, lol
Barb, you can come visit me, too, I know it’s warmer here, then there, lol
Yeah, Susan, you can enjoy that old cold stuff, lol
    Not for me, lol
Hope Jack comes back, soon, lol
and changes our title, we are getting pretty long, here, lol
    Take car, now

  47. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

lol, yes, please do take the car, lol

    Take care,

  48. Chris O'Neill Says:

Take car??? lol it’s funny when we stuff up typing isn’t it? I think in the first version of Straight From Our Hearts I referred to Booby Vinton … or was that in a chat forum on Roy’s old site?? Can’t remember. Not much we can do about what Mother Nature hands out weatherwise is there? Guess we gotta be thankful that we’re all still here to complain about something - the alternative is pretty drastic. As long as we’re not unreasonable complainers like in some forums we’re doing OK. Waddaya say? Abby’s school concert tonight so that’ll be joyful albeit full of ankle biters. Catch y’all tomorrow.

  49. Barb Gowen Says:

I miss the ankle biters :-) ~ Life goes way to fast enjoy Chris, because, they grow up way to quick.

One of these days, I’m heading that way Jeanie, perhaps when it’s cold here and warm there.

  50. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

    Well, alrighty, then, Barb, lol

Yes, Chris, typing errors can be pretty funny sometimes, and not so funny, too, lol

Yeah, I remember Booby vinton, lol

    well, enjoy the concert, lol

Everyone, just have a great day/evening,

  51. Chris O'Neill Says:

Just feel like it’s time to thrash my 2 ‘Best Of Bill Dees’ albums this week. I’m feeling a bit homesick for the US of A stuff. Can’t wait for April to roll around. Did I tell y’all that Tara did very well out of her court settlement stuff? Screwed him big time financially - so she’s approaching the Festive Season with a lot more jolly outlook. Hope you’re all easing into the holiday mode and looking forward with anticipation to spending time with family and friends. Catch ya tomorrow

  52. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

good to hear Tara came out alright, Chris,
Yes, April will be good, ( are you thinking Branson) lol
You really should stay with us as long as you can, to offset that huge plane ticket, lol and that week is free, lol
Well, looks like a pretty good crowd will be in Hendersonville,
ANTICIPATION lol so exciting…….yes, it is, lol
Ok, my friend, till TOMORROW, lol

  53. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

    Jack, Jack,

Please come and change our title, lol

    Thanks, Thanks, lol, lol

  54. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

good morning, all………another cold, wet day here in “sunny California”, lol………..

Tell me, just “where does the time go”? lol (we’ll ask Bill) lol

Almost half the month gone, ALREADY,

Would like to know what Bill and Jack are up too, these days, lol

Take care, All,…wherever you are today,

  55. Susan Buchanan Says:

Yes, we do love that anticipation. I just can’t rush it as I want snow first.
Chris, it is good to know you love our country so much and us, too!!! It sure ain’t what it used to be but it is a good place to be. I am also very happy for Tara. Sounds like she got him. I love justice when it rarely happens.
Well, Mimi Claus needs to get shaking and finish that shopping. Not too much left to do.
Everyone have a great day/night and be good to yourself.
Jack & Bill, we are missing you terribly.

  56. chicco Says:

WELL i made it Jeanie and surprise surprise this is where Chris is hiding Great to find out you are in circulation Chris i did miss you on the forum and i often pick up Straight from and have a read .I will never get tired of that book
I Have just been listening to Bill sing a few songs especially Sleepy Hollow
love that one I will visit again soon …………………….HI Barb

  57. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

    hey, Chicco,
good to see you, visit us often, lol

You must have a listen to Bill’s “Christmas is Jesus Christ”, if you haven’t, already,

Bill is the sole writer of “Sleepy Hollow”, and he and Roy do it very well, lol

If the Roy forum crashes, we can meet here, lol

Yes, Chris is a joy to know, and we can never thank him enough
for putting our book together, getting it published, and hauling it all the way over to us from Australia, lol Bless you, Chris.

See you all next time, take care,

  58. Barb Gowen Says:

Hello Chicco…………..and hello all :-) ~ Susan, I know winter is just starting I got lots of cold weather yet I’ll survive but gripping all the way.

Glad Tara, came out on top, the good guys finish first more often than not.

  59. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

Well, another wet, wet morning here in my little corner of the world, been raining all night, still coming down,
Looks like a wet year, lol
Yeah, Barb, I think Susan could live at the north pole and love it, lol……….
Just give me spring and summer, too,
Can’t travel in the winter, lol
yes, Susan, why are we “missing” those guys? lol
They must be awfully busy, to ignore us this way, lol
Just kidding, guys, we know you have a life without us, lol
And, Jack has his site to keep up, too,
    Take care, All

  60. Susan Buchanan Says:

Yes, yes I am a snow bird and we sure do not get much of the stuff any more. Looks like the whole western half of the US has snow. I must visit my northern friends this time of year.
Chicco it is sure good to see you here. The more the merrier. Please hang out with us just any time.
Jack must still be having some computer problems that he thought would be fixed earlier in the week. We do miss him and Bill when they are not around. Maybe we will get another song on the site for Christmas.
Well, Barb, we can’t even go to Jeanie’s to warm up this time.
    Everyone have a great weekend.

  61. chicco Says:

Thanks for the welcome friends don’t know whats happening to R/O/.COM
i cant get in the old site has gone completely I will tell Rambo about Bills site if she wants to keep in touch
I Have had a listen to a few of Bills songs and yes he does make a good job of Crawling Back
Does Ray come on Bills site he sounds like he is very impressed with him after the last Hendersonville meet Take care i will visit again soon

  62. Chris O'Neill Says:

G’day all! A bit of hot gossip - orbison.com is being taken over by Sony so I don’t know what affect that will have on it. Hope it makes it more user friendly and appealing to all. Not really hiding out here chicco just a wamer environment I reckon. I think you’ll find the same. Roy Jr is still adamant about pushing Roy ’s music to the younger generation - those close to the scene know that this isn’t really gonna work but are deeply frustrated by his determination - so there’ll be nothing new for us older fans I’m afraid. Altho - there may be a project release in January which might please a few of us.

  63. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

well, Chris, I guess we will be waiting to see what the “surprise” might be, lol…….

Jack, please come change our title, lol……….

Doesn’t Roy Jr. know by now, that the younger people aren’t going to learn about Roy without us “older” guys to teach them? lol

I’m not sure I will be “hanging out” much on the new Roy forum,
it doesn’t seem to be too warm and friendly, like here, lol

But, oh, well, maybe it’s just me, lol

Enjoy whatever you are doing, everyone,

    Take care,

  64. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

well, Chicco, Ray should come here, and yes, he was very impressed after meeting Bill, lol…..just like the rest of us, lol
And please do visit here, often….

  65. Chris O'Neill Says:

Who wouldn’t be impressed after meeting Bill?? He makes quite an impression. You knowm Orbison Productions have it all wrong don’t they? They need a fan in there working with Barbara - I’d put my hand up.

  66. Dessie Says:

Hi friends. just do love the track “Christmas Is Jesus Christ” great at this time. Have played it over and over. Cheers Jack. Yes Chris know of the
Orbison Bldgs door. I still cant get into new site, password thingie. lol.
We sure could learn the young fans more than they would be told.anyway I can always drop by here to say “Hello”.

  67. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

And we hope you will come by often, Dessie,……
Yes, I think we all are having trouble with the new site, I had to change my password, but, it is still hard to work,

but, this a nice place to visit, lol

  74. Dessie Says:

Hi All. well we have the first of snow here, and had to walk to work
    this moning.lol.
i still cant get into the Orbison site, I dont know who set it up, but sure didnt make it easy.
Anway its near christmas and im playin Bill lovely song. over and over.

  75. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

    hey, Dessie,
yes, the new site is not fun, at all.
but, Bill’s, here, is very easy, lol
Yes, Bill has a few songs that fit the
Christmas Season, and they are soooo good,
I’m sorry you had to walk in the snow,
    hope you stayed warm.
I do not like cold, myself, lol
Don’t think I would do well, buuuurrr, lol

  76. Chris O'Neill Says:

Dessie - we’ll swap you some snow for a bit of heat mate. 45 degrees celsius here tomorrow - but expecting big rains Christmas Eve as a cyclone from the west is due to bear down on us. Hope it only brings rain. We can do without the strong winds and lightnng that will accompany it. We have been put on Catastrophic Fire Danger Warning, which means we have to employ our bushfire action plans and really, should leave tonight for a safer less risk area but like most we’ll stay and see what happens frist. If we get the rain it’ll be fine but if we get the electrical activity only and high winds we could be in strife. We’ve been here 22 years now and several fires but all has been Ok I’m sure it will be this time too. Still listening to Bill and Jack - what joy they bring. Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas.

  77. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

    Gosh, Chris,
Don’t wait too long, ok? wow
Oh, the weather is so awfull in some places,
    Really crazy, sometimes.

but, you take care, and stay safe,…….

Wish we would hear something from Jack, soon.

  78. Chris O'Neill Says:

Got thru today OK apart from the blistering heat. There were a couple of fires aboutan hour or so away from us which saw he loss of 6 homes - no human lives lost. With temps again in the mid 20’s tomorrow and the forecast of plenty of rain - we are very optimistic. Yeah where are ya Jack??

  79. jeanie boultinghouse Says:

good to hear you are ok today, Chris,

so sad about those homes, but, everyone is safe and that is what counts.

but, still very sad when people lose everything.

I guess that Jack and Bill are keeping busy doing something, lol

Well, Merry Christmas, you stay safe, now, ya hear? lol

  80. Susan Buchanan Says:

HO! HO! HO! Is it Christmas yet???? What a busy time of year. Chris I am certainly glad you and yours are safe. I am glad there was no one hurt in the fires close by. Hope you are getting the hoped for rain as it will be Christmas Eve when you get up in the morning.
Dessie, we had our first snow in North Carolina the same day you did. Wish we could send some of it to Chris & Sue!
Jeanie, I know you and Barb don’t want any snow and I say bring it on.
I tried to get in the Orbison forum but the password would not work. Looks like everyone has to start anew. Is that correct.
I guess we are going to have to put out a search team for Jack. I talked with Bill a couple of days ago and he was going shopping for Nancy.
To all you friends/fans, have a very Merry Christmas. Much love to you and yours. And if you have not done so, get those plans made to join us in Hendersonville!
How I miss that Bill Frady and knew him such a short time. Sensei, we will have our re-match in heaven one of these days. But he is there with so many loved ones, I know he is a happy fellow. My thoughts and prayers are with the Frady’s as this Christmas will be lonely without Chester and Bill.
    MERRY CHRISTMAS DEAR FRIENDS!!!!

  81. Tony Mclauglin Says:
